Under the mentorship of Dr. Ratnakar Palai and graduate students Vincent G. Marrero and Rosemary Cortes, I have been working on the growth and analysis of Al₂O₃ doped ZnO thin films. Together, with the guidance of my mentors, we drive innovation in electronic devices, aiming to enhance Cadmium Zinc Oxide radiation detectors with our thin films.

During the summer of 2022, I worked with my mentor Dr. Benetge Perera to further study an emission event that occurred with PSR 1713+0747 in April 2021. We used previous Arecibo Observatory data from 2013 and Green Bank Telescope data from 2022, at a single pulse level, to understand any changes that may be seen at a single pulse level.

As a undergraduate student I helped guide a team of students with the help of my mentor Oscar Resto, the PI of the project, and another project lead Melany Perez to transition the mission from RockSat X to RockSat C, which purpose was to send a experiment into space. Given that mission was still in the midst of the pandemic we had to look for new ways to maintain the engagement of the students and at the same time complete the mission.
