• Fully understands the scope of work for all allocated engineering deliverables and ensure that it is delivered to the requisite quality, budget and schedule and that the relevant Project Manager is fully informed, at the earliest opportunity, of any customer-initiated changes in scope• Be the focal point for all technical communication with customers for the assigned deliverables and ensure that all team members allocated to the Lead Engineer, inclusive of any in-house engineering resources and third parties, are provided with necessary and relevant information such as details of scope, schedule, technical specifications, and quality standards to effectively deliver their assigned work• Assume the main role for HW detailed functional design, Ovation HW configuration design, Bill of Material (BOM), and documentation approval • Define the standard project definition and ensure that the standards are utilized for project execution • Leadership on finding & developing together with 3rd party suppliers, dedicated solutions for special project customized hardware interfaces (typical but not limited to “system migration” or “retrofit” projects), then, where applicable, to set-up and directly execute validation tests, prior defining them as “project standards” • Development of procurement list including detailed specifications for any sub-contracted works and services where applicable, along with required delivery dates • Establishes principles and main definitions of the Hardware Design Specification.• Develops various hardware design concepts which suit needed for detailing the system design.• Selects key hardware components and standards • Selects the typicals applicable to the project in cooperation with hardware engineers• Manages the I/O list processed into HW I/O database (all rules for I/O assignment) and coordinating it with the LE and/or SW Lead• Selects network components and manage the network configuration files created
