Project Manager with experience of managing multiple interdependent concurrent software and infrastructure projects within large organisations – boasting demonstrable experience of exceptional stakeholder engagement with both internal and external parties from technical staff through to board level.

During this employment I held several senior function and program leadership roles covering Operational Management, Site Management, and IT implementation. Working on; data migration projects and the implementation of enterprise IT systems and procedures.- As Quality Manager for the group of companies. I was responsible for the policies and procedures addressing: Local Statutory Authorities, Environment Agency, Health and Safety Executive and Vehicle Operators Standards Authority.- Replaced paper based systems with computer based applications reducing operational overheads and improved management real time reporting. Saving £100k- Managed the migration of functions and IT services to a new centralised head office and provisioned outsourced IT & telephony providers strengthening the IT infrastructure.

- Full responsibility for application development. Management of software development teams, both in-house and outsourced across 4 sites in the UK and India. I managed the closure of one development site resulting in a head count reduction of 20% and overall cost reduction in application development and support, whilst maintaining customer service levels.- I implemented a formalised software application, testing, approval and change management process which significantly reduced desktop faults.- Successfully consolidated European Data Centres from outsourced locations to an in-house UK hosted solution, resulting in £3m savings per annum.- I improved application and platform fault management recording and reporting, using change best practise for Service Support (ITIL) processes.- I took over the lead for IT delivery of a failing implementation project which was going off plan, applied Prince2 principles which restored the clients confidence I completed the project and successfully achieved the projects milestones. This contract was worth over £3m to the company.- Successfully, concurrently, project managed the IT and telephony infrastructure of 2 purpose built new UK call centres, each over 700 seats. Including the migration of functions from their old locations. All services and functions moved successfully on time, within budget, without any loss of service.- I managed IT and telephony, internal and external recourses, line carriers, and cost, scope, timeline and milestone specifications for clients.- I built and managed successful client relationships with BT Global Services and Avaya ensuring project needs were met. Additionally BT Project Managers adopted my scoping documentation templates for use in other BT projects.

- Managed the ‘Year 2000’ Millennium Bug program working for the Department of Trade and Industry.- Planned, designed and tested the disaster prevention and recovery plan for the SITEL / DTI call centres.- Designed, tested and implemented software applications, managing a team of five contract programmers.- Coordination of internal and external resources, line carriers, cost control, scoping documentation, timeline and milestone specifications for multiple clients. Management and ownership throughout a project’s lifecycle.- Development of Sales Lead tracking and auditing systems, integration and accreditation to access banking x25 systems.
