I am a highly skilled professional with extensive leadership and management experience in a non-profit setting. I have the ability to create, manage, empower, and mobilize diverse teams and start new ventures in unique places through clear direction and excellent training. I served as an Area Director in Cranbrook, Penticton, and Kelowna over the first 10 years. For the next several years I served as the Regional Director in the Interior Region. That role involved overseeing a team of 15 staff and 150 volunteers and included recruitment, training, and performance management, strategic planning, human resources, fundraising, new area development, training conferences, and directing a wide variety of youth programs across numerous communities.Currently, I am the Director of Leadership Development for Young Life of Canada. I am responsible for the overall training and development of our staff and volunteers. I create programs, systems, and environments that allow our people to flourish and grow into leaders we want reproduced everywhere.
