As a Yard Supervisor at Lafarge Canada, I bring over 2.5 years of experience in leading, managing, and training teams for various projects in the oil and gas and mining industries. I have a strong operational knowledge of many aspects of both upstream and downstream oil and gas, as well as a vast knowledge of the agriculture industry and production environments. I have a passion for safety and rescue, and I hold multiple certifications in these areas, including the AMSA Mine Rescue Certification, Advanced First Aid & CPR, and the Level 2 Surface Mine and Exploration Supervisor.In my current role, I am responsible for hiring, scheduling, and overseeing the work of 14 employees and 10 contractors daily, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance. I am also the lead of the on-site Emergency Response Team, and I have been revitalizing the team and reviewing the training, policies, and procedures to ensure readiness in case of an incident. I have a proven track record of delivering successful projects, such as the pipeline construction for a new diamond mine, where I communicated effectively with mine and company personnel and ensured site health and safety.
