I have been in Archives and History for over 30 years. I am Worcestershire's County and Diocesan Archivist, based at The Hive where I manage all aspects of the archive collections including commercial Digitisation, Document Conservation, Cataloguing, Archival Storage services, public enquiries and searchroom and relations with Depositors and Friends. Details at: www.explorethepast.co.uk I am a Worcestershire Ambassador and combine my professional background and expertise with the skills I acquired through 20 years as a Trade Union Branch Secretary, involved in representation and negotiation. I also draw on my political and business networks, built up during the 28 years I have been a City Councillor, including being elected as Council Leader for 2013-4 and 2016-8I am also proud and pleased, thanks to the support and enthusiasm of colleagues, finally to be a published author in my specialism of the First World War. Currently working on my third book.
