Before the pandemic happened I made the very difficult choice to leave my current job to fulfill a personal achievement of mine, which was to finish my degree in History, coincidentally it evolved into completing a Bachelor's in Psychology along the way. Prior to that I enjoyed my time thoroughly at Quest Diagnostics, first as a Supervisor, and later as the Manager of Specimen Management. During my time at Quest, I had the pleasure of working on multiple "Kaizen" projects to promote an increased quality of life for the employees, and increased production and decreased over time. During my time as Manager, I also facilitated a decrease in turnover by 25.9% YOY and a reduction in OT by 40% YOY. As a Supervisor, I developed the Employee of the Month, Quarter, and Year program that helped recognize employees on the West Coast for their hard work and constant efforts to go above and beyond the line of duty.
