Team Leader - Gmp (Clinical) Manufacturing
Trained in cGMP, First Aid, Spill Response, Permit to Work issuing, Aseptic technique, Safety/ Risk Assessments, Air Hoods, Train the Trainer and Clean Rooms / Gowning. Just 1 year after CPI’s brand new RNA Centre of Excellence opened, I helped CPI to make RNA for the first time in June 2023. In August 2023, as leader of a small team, I helped to carry out a multi-stage production of a novel new encapsulated RNA-based vaccine. This was at the same time as an audit by the MHRA- which was successful… CPI’s RNA Centre of Excellence was awarded a GMP Certificate / Licence and subsequently a MIA (IMP) in February 2024. There are now plans to produce more innovative RNA projects, under GMP conditions, e.g., anti-virals and anti-cancer therapies.
