I am privileged to now work within the Social Housing sector for 21 years across a range of disciplines.Since 2008, I have successfully led on the delivery of the WHQS investment programme for Cartrefi Conwy now managing over £80m of investment over an 8-year period. The programme was a pioneering success for the organisation ensuring excellent value for money, tenant collaboration and added social value through robust procurement and project management techniques. Acute strategic planning of the investment programme, value engineering of every work package involving intense negotiations and contract management resulted in efficiency savings of £10m against the original Business Plan and 98% tenant satisfaction over 4000 properties. My role has expanded greatly over recent years managing all aspects of compliance, Property Services and the Development programme from a strategic and operational perspective. I am very proud to now lead our wholly owned subsidiary - Creating Enterprise since 2016 and grow the business from a new company to what it is today. The success of this organisation over the last 6 years has been significant, demonstrating substantial commercial growth within the construction and facility management sector and by doing so ensuring our social aims are hard wired into each work stream, and profits re used to support individuals furthest from the job market back to work. The organisation is growing from strength to strength being named the fastest growing company in Wales in 2020 and has now secured an order book of near £70m over the next 5 years.I enjoy adapting to changing environments and roles as well as meeting everyday demands of the organisation and regulatory changes. I am always keen to develop new skills and to broaden my experience whilst making a significant and effective contribution to organisational success and to tenants lives.
