Working closely with colleagues in the manpower division, I was key in both establishing the business in Ellesmere Port and overseeing the expansion of our 'Business Watch' scheme at Trafford Park where we offered a rapid response service to customers working in partnership with Greater Manchester Police. It was during this time that I was asked by GMP to participate in the Griffin Project which I was delighted to do and encouraged all of my mobile security officers to enrol on the scheme. The insight into the manpower side of our industry having come from an electronic security background was enlightening and has given me a far better appreciation of how our industry is evolving and the opportunities for a broader technology proposition which includes security as a vital piece.
