• I simulated photonic devices and coordinated device fabrication in semiconductor processing facilities.• The skillset I acquired included analysis of materials, fabrication of optical devices and testing them on optical benches using lasers, free space optics, optical fibres and detectors.• I co-authored 8 publications and presented work to national and international audiences.
