I managed a team of 11 Project Managers and Project Coordinators based in 4 geographic locations (Australia, UK, Germany & India) to ensure the management, planning and execution of all Sydac projects worldwide in line with the business strategy.Budget ownership and management of project portfolios consisting of 40-60 projects with a combined annual revenue of $16-24m per year over 4 years.I was responsible for providing strategic, tactical leadership and oversight for creating, implementing & driving Project Portfolio Management practices in support of Sydac’s enterprise wide business objectives.I introduced enterprise level reporting to ensure consistent and objective visibility of all project & resource activities to make it easier to track work, cost & schedule variances.I also introduced a toolset and processes to provide a means to optimise resource allocation by determining resource demand and allocating resources based on organizational priorities and capacity.Provided input into yearly budget and mid-term plan submissions and participation in interim budget reviews.Performed program progress reviewed and project budget health checks.Performed the role of Program Delivery Sponsor for the world’s largest Rail Simulation Program in India (COFMOW 2), instituting the program architecture, the program governance structure and the Program Steering Committee.I am experienced in contract management having performed in the role of Subcontractor’s Representative (supplier side) for many complex government contracts.
