For 15 years I ran the risk management team in the world's biggest oilfield contractor, responsible across 85 countries, 125,000 employees and $35bn of revenue. I was in charge of all insurance procurement, retention strategies and captive structures, plus reporting to executive mgt and claims mgt; I controlled relations with insurers and all presentations.

Hired on the graduate training program to work in the marine department for Thos R. MIller which ran the world's biggest single marine liability insurance contract (reinsurance of the International P&I Group). I also created, broked and set up an insurance product for acquaculture in Ireland.
