CNX is an IT consultancy company that provides outsourced IT design, monitoring and support to businesses. I started at CNX in 2006 as a junior network engineer. In the ensuing five years I worked my way via promotion to senior network engineer. In this role I was involved with the design, sales, implementation and support of networks for small and medium businesses. This involved designing and supporting solutions utilising Microsoft Server operating systems (including Windows Server Standard and Microsoft Small Business Server), Exchange, SQL and client workstations (Windows 2000, XP, Vista and 7, OSX) as well as learning and supporting third-party applications. I also performed account management and sales roles for some of our clients. Communication and problem solving skills were both heavily relied upon in this role.
