Leading transformational strategic change across the voluntary, health and public sector to enable healthy and wealthy communities. Strategically positioning Sport and Physical Activity as a key enabler of change to influence new models of health, care and economic development in our communities.Currently focused on NHS ICS Commissioning, influencing the LEP with their Local Industrial Strategy and delivering a £7.2m European funded Economic development activity. I am committed to seeing improvements in health and social care services, population prevention activity and digital innovation to make change happen. Experience of working in a Strategic leadership role with Public Health, Local Authorities, National and regional Charities: facilitating strategy development, planning, securing resources and supporting the development of effective strategic development and delivery networks.

As a NED on the Hospital Trust Board serving the communities of Morecambe Bay. We deliver acute health care services across the north Lancashire and south Cumbria footprint and in key locations in Lancaster, Kendal and Barrow.

Working alongside NHS and Academic leaders and development thinkers to create and test new models of health and social care. I have a key role to represent the voluntary sector and test the work we are progressing with partners including the DWP and Lancashire LEP.

Providing leadership and co ordination across Lancashire's health systems and services in my role as a voluntary sector strategic leader. I have a key developmental roles for community mobilisation, cross sector communication and development. I work closely with CCG Chief Executives and Director for Public Health, alongside Elected members and service commissioners.I also represent the voluntary sector on the Lancashire and South Cumbria Sustainable Transformation Plan Programme Board.I have recently taken part in a Kings Fund and NCVO development project, working closely with the Lancashire STP; taking the lead role on behalf of the voluntary sector to breakdown barriers to engagement and long term co design and delivery.

Strategically leading on behalf of the voluntary sector in this key STP leadership. Taking a lead role for service commission redesign, performance management and work across the voluntary sector to ensure we maximise our impact towards reducing None Elective Admissions and improve Delayed Transfers of Care across NHS acute providers. I have led the development of a voluntary sector partnership "The Active Ageing Alliance" which has seen the development of revised models of care based on customer journeys and satisfaction.I am leading a CCG commissioned piece of work to develop a new model of care which will utilise voluntary capacity alongside specialist NHS skills. We aim to see this co designed project inform a £12m annual recommission of Better Care fund services in Lancashire from April 2019 which will delivered largely by the voluntary sector. Lancashire Sport seeks to provide a primary contractor role to enable this ambitious project to be delivered by the voluntary sector.

As part of the LCCLOG Executive Group I fulfill the joint functions of managing the groups contracts and financial arrangements, alongside working with group members to identify and support inward Strategic investment across the Culture and Sport portfolio. Work with the group has previously included contracting research consultants and undertaking CSIT (Cultural Services Improvement Toolkit) peer reviews as a trained peer assessor.

Chair of the Amateur Swimming Association, NW Region Board. Providing Strategic leadership and support to the disciplines of Swimming and Clubs across the NW Region. Recent activities include development of a Board Strategy, Action plan, Balanced scorecard and recruitment of 2 Club Support Officers for the NW region - working with the ASA on an integrated Club development approach. Produced a new Strategy, and completed a full Board Governance review.

I have been extensively engaged with the Trust; previously as Chair, now as Vice Chair and Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee. Providing ongoing leadership and support to the Board of Trustees and have been heavily involved in staff recruitment, including the Chief Executive and the restructuring of the organisation to meet financial challenges. I have worked with the organisation to support a number of Strategic funding applications for Capital and Revenue funding streams for the Trusts assets and service developments.
