Triple Zero phone calls in the state of Victoria and the associate Emergency response are managed using the ESTA Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) System. As Solution Architect on the CAD upgrade project, Adrian has continually been working with senior Emergency Services stakeholders across Victoria and numerous technology suppliers to architect, design and deliver a Solution allowing ESTA to remain current and innovate into the future. This role has required Adrian to:• Architect a future proof 24/7, integrated, highly available solution supporting Triple Zero emergency service dispatch • Design Production and multiple non-production integrated environments supporting the Solution, comprised of multiple hardware, software technologies and service suppliers• Design interface and interconnectivity required to support interfaces with the Victorian Emergency Services Agencies • Deliver to a schedule and budget within a highly complex, political, and commercial environment.• Evaluate and engage suppliers, using government procurement process, for hardware, software, license and Professional services engagements.• Provide thought leadership and ensure best practice is followed when exchanging data across the Emergency Services Sector• Oversee all architectural and technical considerations during the project’s delivery phase.• Identify functional and non-functional requirements to be addressed in a target state Solution.• Consult on solution and integration best practice across the enterprise

Replacing fragile, tightly coupled applications with robust, highly available solutions capable of zero downtime deployments by:• Understanding business context & challenges faced by the operational users• Conceptualising & documenting solution architectures • Translating analytical information into structured definitions and requirements.• Providing thought leadership and ensuring best practice be followed for integration, security, UX and other aspects of the solution.• Consulting and influencing stakeholders• Architecting and designing clustered, load balanced solution with Single Sign On• Ensuring best application, integration and security practices were followed.• Providing leadership and consultancy for automated deployment and configuration • Designing and implementing automated Citrix Netscaler configuration methodology

Responsible for both introducing a new SOA & BPM Reference Architecture, for Oracle Fusion Middleware, and using it to renovate the SRO’s first BPM project into an award winning production solution.• Facilitating the adoption of a new SOA/BPM Reference Architecture at the SRO by running workshops and initiatives to introduce new practises effecting process analysis, analysis and delivery.• Solution & technical architecture defining executable business processes capable of managing attachments, SOA & BPM audit store, data lineage for updates to revenue management system, security for internal & external services, single sign on for user interfaces, testing and integration patterns• Business Analysis, enabling the specification of analytical process models that could be implemented as executable processes.• Legacy System analysis – to ensure the features defined in new business processes could be supported with minimal alteration to the existing systems.• Technical Design – to provide an example of how a robust executable Oracle BPM solution should be designed and work allocated across development resources.• Defining the development methodology and SDLC for Oracle SOA & BPM applications and their dependencies.• Defining a solution and led the implementation of an extensible continuous delivery pipeline for Oracle BPM applications.• Implementing source code management processes and practices.• Establishing process and service governance such as documentation and quality gates throughout the SDLC• Defining strategic solutions for generating correspondence and capturing responses from the public• Using Agile techniques to lead a 10-person team to successfully deliver a 3-month pilot - proving all technical aspects of the solution were cost effective and viable.• Optimising the usage of mail house capabilities by bringing correspondence generation in-house and using the mail house for dispatch, tracking and reporting.
