Area Sales Engineer working with new and existing accounts developing, Automation and Control Gear accounts, Electrical Contracting, Panel Builds and Motor rewinds and Repairs.

The role of Key Account Manager is to seek and win new business, protect exisiting revenue by establishing long term relationships with customers and gain an understanding of their current and future needs, challenges and projects whilst safeguarding profit margins for the UK Sales Division within RS Components.

I was responsible for selling to a varied client base within the industrial marketplace including, engineering, food, process and manufacturing, military, nuclear,and energy . The emphasis on relationship building within key and regional accounts allied to developing business in emerging markets as well as identifying opportunities to grow the account spend across the product range.

Responsible for sales in new branch in Carlisle. I was part of sales team which developed branch to £4 million pounds in 5 years. Major heating, ventilation and process control contracts won to establish the branch.
