I am passionate about all things IT. My journey in the field began over a decade ago when I joined the US Army as an IT Specialist back in 2014. It was there that I started in this dynamic world of technology, handling everything from desktop support to network security and beyond.Fast forward to today, and I find myself doing well as a Systems Administrator, continually expanding my skills and expertise in IT management. I've had the privilege of leading teams in fast-paced environments, ensuring that systems run smoothly and securely. Whether it's managing Microsoft Exchange systems or conducting hardware upgrades, I'm always up for the challenge.My time with the Department of Energy (DOE) ETAS Inc. has further honed my abilities, where I've been entrusted with responsibilities ranging from software deployments to maintaining Common Access Cards (CAC) for secure access control. Prior to this, I've had enriching experiences with the US Army and the Commonwealth Office of Technology (DOR), where I delved into firewall support, virtualization, and database management.When I'm not knee-deep in troubleshooting, you'll likely find me out running road races or cycling. Volunteering, catching up on sports, and planning my next travel adventure also top my list of hobbies.With certifications in COMPTIA Security Plus and a thirst for continuous learning, I'm always eager to tackle new challenges and stay at the forefront of IT innovation. I am currently studying for a CISSP certification as I would like to delve more into the world of cyber security. Let's connect!
