While leading and supervising the finance team I decided to start analyzing the company’s data in order to improve its decision making. Key responsibilities and tasks include:- Virality Network Project. Developed a tool for the marketing team to summarize and analyze the referral network of promotional codes or individual users. This tool has helped identify evangelists among our users as well as generate accurate performance reports of influencers or general marketing campaigns. Moreover, the project was very well received among investors, this helped close the second investment round.- Develop a Python module to pre-process, aggregate and, join into a pandas dataframe data across different mongodbs in independent microservices. - Develop a Python module to automate the data ingestion into the company’s spreadsheets.- Lay the first stone in data governance. Establish processes and documentation guidelines among backend developers for the creation and update of database schemas.- Provide data insights and studios to drive the company’s decision making

Goin is a fintech startup based in Barcelona. Goin helps Millennials achieve their financial goals through automatic saving and investing. I joined Goin as the first team member. My first role at Goin was to be the Head of Finance. Key responsibilities and tasks include:- Research and model different possible income sources or business models. Then, those models were embedded in the company’s financial forecasting. - Define the company’s KPIs.- Design and redact an Investor Report in order to provide a broad vision of the KPIs and financial health of the company.- Supervise the company’s accounting. - Contribute to the redaction of the Investor Decks.- Implement a script to fetch the users pending withdrawals and generate a bank transfer file using XML ISO 20022.- Implement a script to quantify and track the likelihood of our user’s names to those in terrorism and money-laundering databases.
