Assess the vocational skills of visa / immigration applicants.

Joined Aviva in July 2006 as pricing manager of the retail insurance team and also to implement the group life basis for the Aviva Masterfund - including the reinsurance arrangements, treaties, pricing etc. Aviva were very successful with their Independent Adviser sales force and my role was to provide the actuarial framework to the 6 monthly product upgrades which included the reinsurance negotiations.The merger with MLC resulted in me being the investment platform pricing manager. There have been numerous repricing, integration and migration exercises and all reaching the ultimate goal of successful launches and re-launches of the key investment platforms. During this time there were a huge number of problems to assess and resolve as a primary consultant for actuarial assessment and resolution.

AIA were about to uplift its group insurance activities - particularly for corporate Masterfunds and then also the quantum leap into Industry Funds. During my time at AIA there was a huge amount of activity in this area and I am proud of my contribution to AIA's growth phase during my 5 + years there. I learned plenty and AIA changed so much in that time. AIA has continued to grow and be very successful in the group insurance space following the growth surge in the early 2000's.
