My Role as A Health & Safety Training Advisor in my previous employment and my Objectives of this role on a general basis were to.• Train Operatives Safely in using Mechanical Handling Equipment, i.e., Forklift Trucks, Man- Up Trucks, High Level Order Pickers, Pedestrian Pallet Trucks and refreshers for a proactive Health & Safety Workforce. • Abseil from Height training and refreshers safely for all Working at Heights Regulations regarding operatives.• Yearly Manual Handling Refreshers for all Warehouse and Office employees regarding Safe Systems of Work.• Inductions into the working environment for new agency starters as a Duty of Care. • Investigate Report Near Misses and Incidents and report them to the Business to follow Process and Policy for Auditing.• Write Risk Assessments and Method Statements for new processes with a review date. • Organize a yearly H&S Training Plan for all Warehouse personnel.• Liaise with the Senior Management Team daily regarding H&S issues and Training Objectives. • Weekly Health & Safety Warehouse Walkarounds with the Management Team or a delegate. • Monthly Inspections for All S-Cape Units on the Trucks and the S-Cape Training Units.• Weekly Pre-Operational Checks on all Mechanical Handling Equipment and record them to a database for H&S audits.• Weekly SEMA Health & Safety Warehousing Racking Inspections and record my findings to a database for H&S audits. • Report and Liaise with Linde and Jungheinrich engineers when they arrived onto site to fix any problems with Mechanical Handling Equipment. • Liaise with Senior managers for Purchase Orders for Health & Safety Equipment and other issues. • Drive behavioural Health & Safety culture change Training programmes across a large complex multi-shift operation. • I am still nationally registered with Association Industrial Truck Trainers and I can deliver training on FLT`s. • I am also still registered to deliver Abseil S-Cape from Man-Up and High-Level Order Pickers MHE Trucks.Summary:Certified database administration, First Aid & AED, Forklift MHE Trainer, S-Cape Abseil Trainer, Risk Assessment Method Statements Administrator, Rescue from Heights Trainer, SEMA Racking Inspector.
