Head Of Post Production
CurrentShooting RAW 14bit uncompressed 4:2:2 video, hacked with Magic Lantern firmware and customized to impeccablility with each shoot... aiming for the cinematic RAW 14bit uncompressed appeal of cameras in the $90,000 range - its all part of the pleasure that I have developed the way I learn best; by myself, and stubborn, insane amounts of dedication....Head of post-production means that I am professional in every aspect of the post-production process as I know it: from color-grading in DaVinci Resolve, to first processing each individual frame that I shot as video but in RAW 14bit, into DNGcinema files, and then running through a customized "roundtrip-workflow," which ultimately, allows myself to develop as close to perfection in optimizing the incredible ability of RAW 14bit footage shot on a 35mm full frame DSLR full size rig, and on Zeiss cinematic compact prime glass! All while running everything manual. I love asethtics, and I hope to find a network, if not in time to create my own company but to work for someone else first, and prove what kind of asset I can be, with such a rarely seen vast amount of the highest-level skillsets for someone who has only begun to touch the service; there is only so much you can do alone! 3D, and compositing 3D animation and objects into real digital cinematic footage is something of a fastination for myself as well... and I am not sure where I am going with my experience in 3D rendering and compositing for both still and animated purposes. Above all, I strive for nothing less than what should appear as the more pure eye-candy - whether it is a short viral web commercial video for a small local client, or a full on MTV2 Jams music video, or a documentary - I feel like I have what it takes, and way further than ANYONE who tries to make it out to be about their degree. I dropped out because I was not getting the intensive, ridiculously hyperfocusing work in my classes and demanded by my professors that helped in anyway.
