Currently Sr System Administrator, main responsibilities are maintenance and building infrastructure servers. Such as Active Directory, SCCM, SCOM, FTP, IIS, MSsql, DPM, DNS, DHCP, SCVMM, HyperV, Azure, and many SaaS applications. Responsible for offices in Canada, Spain, Bulgaria, Russia, and Philippines.

Tier 3 technical lead, and subject matter expert for web hosting product line. We provided virtual private servers to small to medium size business. As technical lead I was responsible for resolving Tier 3 tickets escalated form Tier 2 agents. Regularly attended conferences globally and educated staff on new technology. Conducted technical interviews for new hires to the department. Was instrumental in the implementation of several collaboration tools used company wide. Regularly worked with the following technologies Web servers (IIS, APACHE), Mail servers (Exchange, Imail), Database Servers (MSsql, Mysql), Firewalls (Windows Firewall, IP-tables), Web Hosting Control Panels (Linux, Windows), and Virtualized server OS (Server 2003 – 2008, Debian, Centos, and RedHat)

Responsible for creating trouble tickets regarding Plain Old Telephone System (POTS) line issues. Making prelim repairs, by troubleshooting with remote tools, and applying fixes when available. Secondary duties were to co-ordinate technician dispatches.

Providing first and second level troubleshooting on Internet connectivity for Canada’s largest DSL provider, and its customers, maintaining excellent troubleshooting logs. Supporting a wide range of os’s, Mac 9.2 – mac x, win 95-win xp, including windows 2000, and NT on a daily basis. Configured Outlook, Outlook express, Apple mail, and various other email client. Used network management tools to trouble shoot and resolve network connectivity issue using NetAssistant, Robocop. Used Lantern to check speeds of lines and change line profiles form line cards located in CO’s all over Ontario and Quebec.

System administrator for a small office of 10 users. During this time my main responsibilities was administration of Active Directory, FTP server, Mail account administration.
