Rolleston Coal Mine

Completion of Maintenance Service Agreement to replace the MARC contract for heavy equipment maintenance. Scope included labour hire, equipment monitoring, specialist supervision, discounted parts supply, on site parts store and component exchange. Miscellaneous equipment (bucket and tray) repair and equipment hire contracts. Short term assignment completed at the end of July 2014.

Management of tender and award process for new contracts associated with the recommencement of coal mining and processing operations at the Collinsville Coal mine. Contracts included production drilling, stemming services, quarry products, laboratory services and maintenance of fire systems. Successfully completed 6 month contract in April 14.

Contracts included camp development, civil works, SMP installation, tank fabrication, tank installation, conveyor splicing, electrical installation, labour hire, reinforced earth walls and major drainage works. Contract management of awarded contracts through to close out and completion. High level management of EPCM contract.

Tender document preparation, tender analysis, contract preparation and contract management for projects relating to various mining operations (Newlands Coal, Abbott Point Coal Terminal, Carpentaria Gold, McArthur River Mining, Mt Isa). Contracts included long wall relocation, conveyor installation, development mining, tailings dam construction, ventilation structures, dams and pump infrastructure, directional drilling and gas drainage.
