I am currently managing a project that will replace over 3400 wireless access points in Gävle and Ockelbo kommun and their subsiduaries.Other concurrent projects include:- A roll-out of managed Ipads for Gävle kommun's pre-schools- The implementation of digital services to support parents choosing schools for the pre-school and year 7 students.- The implementation of a digital service for students changing schools within Gävle kommun and for new students moving to the municipality.- Analysis and documentation of integrations to and from Gävle kommun's school administration system.

Application development and support for a operations and planning system, a contract management system and a finance and invoicing system within CGI's portfolio of forestry industry applications. In addition to building new functionality for the rolling release programme, I also maintained existing code and handled support issues. I was responsible for translating the entire user interfaces of two applications from Swedish to English for our first overseas client.

Development of ongoing enhancements to Fujitsu's Knowledge Portal application for Fujitsu Finland. Developed functionality to export information from Knowledge Portal into new CV templates for Fujitsu, and Fujitsu Finland's sister companies Nice and Nico. The application and CV templates were localized into both Finnish and English. Technologies: c#, asp.net 4, javascript, jquery, xml,xslt, wordML, SQL server 2008, Entity Framework, Team foundation Server 2010.

During my time at Chainformation I built functionality in asp.net and C#. that plugged into the company's Chainformation Concept Manager application, an Intranet knowledge management application aimed at retail franchises. My achievements there included: Wrote a strategy document which highlighted areas in which their software development process could be improved. This strategy was presented to the company owner and its findings were turned into a programme of work which addressed areas of weakness.Redesigning the software development process to improve the quality of the applications we built by creating a development process establish coding standards and organising and conducting code reviews. Created a recruitment process for new developers and was responsible for interviewing and selecting new staff.Created a training process for new developers joining the company

In this role I was solely responsible for an application development team of three .Net Developers, a Siebel Analytics developer, a system administrator, a Test Analyst and two web forms designers.I planned, managed and supervised the team’s projects from the initial client approach to implementation and support. I also consulted on the design or approach taken to address particular aspects of functionality and determined what tools and technologies should be used by the Care Quality Commission as application development platform.
