-Coordinate induction and return of H-53s being repaired by Korean Airlines by assessing customers’ needs and considering contractor’s capabilities and resources.-Communicate needs of customers to contractor to allow for the establishment of reasonable goals while ensuring timely product delivery and strong working relationship between both organizations.-Coordinate aircraft functional check flight operations and provide guidance to customer and Korean Airlines on developing the most efficient schedule for completing the event-Provide analysis and recommendation of aircraft and sub-system malfunctions and operational abnormalities -Provide on-site technical expertise to contractor on all facets of CH/MH-53E maintenance including interpreting technical data, defining material requirements and clearly conveying customer needs-Successfully coordinated and participated in a time-study that was jointly conducted with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) which directly resulted in the renegotiation and subsequent reduction of the maintenance man-hours billed to the US Government.-Identified discrepancies related to the induction of repairable items and helped with implementation of solutions to prevent future issues that may arise from accepting parts that are Non-Compliant with current Technical Directives-Provide in-depth analysis and explanation of processes relating to Organizational Level Maintenance to the current contractors removing ambiguity when present-Assist with management of actions on all H-53 airframes with indirect responsibility over 60 Korean contractors while providing regular reviews of maintenance procedures to reduce future maintenance errors and streamline troubleshooting

-Control, monitor and coordinate the maintenance department workload to ensure maximum aircraft availability to support the daily flight schedule.-Responsible for ensuring that the day to day maintenance requirements are met while maintaining liaison with supporting organizations and the Supply Department to ensure squadron work requests and requisitions are properly processed.-Coordinate planned large maintenance evolutions efficiently to expedite the process and return aircraft to a ready baseline status.-Establish and schedule aircraft inspections based on flight hours and operating hours to ensure timely discovery and correction of material defects.-Advise upper management about the overall workload and material condition as it affects the maintenance department.-Ensure all Aircraft Discrepancy Records are reviewed prior to each flight for maintenance discrepancies that could affect the safety of aircrew and aircraft during flight.

-Monitor all squadron maintenance trends consistently improving safe and efficient maintenance practices in accordance with the applicable maintenance instruction manuals and organizational procedures.-Monitor (7) and manage (2) maintenance programs and perform audits in accordance with the Commander Naval Air Forces (CNAF) Computerized Self Evaluation Checklist (CSEC).-Lead the daily Functional Check Flight (FCF) schedule. Coordinate with the Maintenance Control work center to effectively manage aircraft that require test procedures.-Mentor junior Aircraft Maintenance Technicians with emphasis on engine, transmission, rotor and fuel system maintenance.-Supervise, train, and mentor all Collateral Duty Inspectors (CDIs), and Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representatives (CDQARs) within the squadron.-Administer written tests and perform hands-on technical walk-throughs for maintainer qualifications.- Served as the Naval Aviation Maintenance Joint Discrepancy Reporting and Support Equipment Misuse and Abuse Program Manager, continued to maintain and run efficient programs that comply with the policies of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program.- Effectively screened Aircraft Discrepancy Books and prepared detailed Functional Check Flight briefs for, ensuring correct profiles were flown to properly check systems with prior discrepancies, and maximizing testing efficiency.- Performed Plane Captain written and practical examinations to determine the eligibility of Plane Captain Candidates for the squadron. Performed periodic evaluations to ensure the proficiency of current Plane Captains.- Closely monitored aircraft maintenance performed by all work centers ensuring superior attention to detail with maximum efficiency. - Supervised Inspectors and Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representatives during flight critical maintenance procedures, and trained personnel on safe, proper, and efficient maintenance practices.

-Provided formal training to aircraft maintenance technician candidates over the course of three years ensuring that only well-qualified and fully-trained technicians were designated.-Served as an Instructor Evaluator with duties such as training and evaluating qualified instructors and instructor-trainees.-Maintained readiness of student training environments and related materials to include mechanical maintenance trainers, publications, instructor guides, student guides and Power Point presentations.
