About Adrian Morton

Forward thinking, commercially minded and a calculated risk taker – by the age of 24 I’d already had a successful sales career, owned and developed 2 profitable businesses and worked in Europe, Canada & Far East. My career has continued at this pace, taking me all over the world in the process of developing and transforming businesses into profitable, market leading entities. Career highlights include: ■ Developed Solace International into the market leader in the disposal glove market ■ Led the creation of the world’s fastest two man dinghy – still used in the Olympics ■ Purchased a loss making business, Oxbow Media and turned it into a multi million turnover business I have embraced new systems and technology throughout my career, recognising that businesses need to future proof and innovate to survive. This has enabled me to create efficient businesses which can get ahead of the competition, win bigger business and manage larger orders with ease. Having won contracts with substantial organisations such as Compass Group, Google, BA and Mercedes-Benz, I have developed expertise in building and developing strong client relationships. Experiences of managing day-to-day operations of businesses has given me a core set of managerial skills including leading people, sales, marketing, suppliers, distributors, clients, projects, finance, IT, stock and quality.Visual awareness and design experience complements strong technical skills and I am competent in Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp and Layout as well as MS Office, Hootsuite and Google Analytics. Alongside my commercial career, I am a passionate and highly experienced sailor, have raced competitively offshore for 8 years and am currently completing the RYA Yacht masters qualification. I also have an increasing interest in the circular economy. Currently hired by organisations seeking growth, change or interim leadership, to talk business (or boats!) just get in touch.
