I pride myself on the way I work with others, showing respect to everyone and always approaching new situations as an opportunity to learn from the team involved.My work has afforded me great opportunities to develop skills in laboratory processes and workflow, laboratory technique development as well as process improvement R&D, and development of and refining of analytical techniques. As both a team member and leader, I also have skills within development and implementation of process improvement projects. Involvement in process projects has developed my skills in process engineering, project delivery and hazard assessment, as well as the ability to influence others to achieve common goals.In my role as a leader of a team of professionals, it is very rewarding to see and share with them their success and support them in their development to achieve their goals.Through my role with Standards Australia, and technical support across international borders within my role at Rio Tinto, I have a great interest in the growing need for impeccable ESG within the mining industry and supply chains, and agree with the importance of this focus. This, and the green energy transition set the stage for challenges within the commodity industries for the years ahead.
