Project: "Understanding synergy of drug combinations"The work was done in Python and involved exploring statistical approaches to understand synergy of some drugs combinations against a cell line modelling colorectal cancer. Dataset was built from NCI-ALMANAC and LINCS. I looked into how the structure similarity of drug pairs influence their synergy outcome, and what signalling pathways are targeted by synergistic drug combinations. Moreover, I worked with some machine learning models, Decision Tree and Random forest, used to predict synergy from the gene expression data; their performance prediction was compared by changing various parameters
