In January 2024, I worked with the International Labour Organisation (a UN agency) to develop and deliver workershops on Thai and international labour laws to private seafood companies, NGOs and worker groups in Bangkok and Hat Yai. I worked closely with the ILO's Ship to Shore Rights team, the Thai Tuna Industry Association and Thai Frozen Foods Association. I also met with representatives from the Thai Government Department of Labour Protection and Welfare.Presented on BDEI at corporate social responsibility events hosted by Apple, Google, Dolby Laboratories, Allens and API Global Solutions.Written widely about human rights, LGBTQIA+ advocacy and food security for The Age, Sydney Morning Herald, Crikey and Junkee.Supported STARTTS (refugee and asylum seeker charity) with recruitment for an LGBTQIA+ refugee training officer.
