As President of the Miami University College Democrats, I managed all operations of the organization. This included chairing weekly general body meetings, delegating administerial tasks to the executive board, planning political advocacy on campus, and working in conjunction with collegiate, local, state, and federal affiliates of the Democratic Party.

As Membership Director of the Miami University College Democrats, I was tasked primarily with helping general members obtain career opportunities, including but not limited to, internships, campaign work, community service, and fellowship opportunities.

As Parliamentarian of Miami University's Associated Student Government (ASG), I had the primary task of chairing the Administrative Committee and ensuring that ASG operates within the limits of our constitution, bylaws, and standing rules. I also held the responsibility of being a member of the Steering Committee which is responsible for deciding which legislation will come before the Senate. Finally, I sat as a non-voting member on the Oversight Committee.Before being elected as Parliamentarian, I served as a Student Senator for two years. In those two years I took and led initiatives in representing students and community members by fighting for a more inclusive, safer, and just campus.Such examples include:- Passing legislation that included making ASG bylaws gender neutral, a bill to reform the Oversight Committee to be more restorative and transparent, securing better access to emergency housing aid, and a resolution calling for MU to abide by fair labor practices regarding labor union relationships.- I authored ASG's first anti-discrimination clause within our bylaws, worked with Jewish student organizations across campus in efforts to combat anti-semitism and hate speech, as well as helped coordinate It's On Us programming to help educate students on the epidemic of sexual and interpersonal violence on college campuses.

As the Director of Advocacy of the Diversity Affairs Council, I represented the interests of over 4,000 students of diverse backgrounds and lobbied the Miami University administration to adopt more inclusive policies regarding all aspects of student life.Examples include:- Working with MU Dining & Catering to expand the menu of multicultural options available to student organizations, either by hands-on direct cooking with Miami Chefs or through the submission of personalized recipes.- Advocated that low-income and vulnerable student be allowed the option to apply for emergency housing aid, especially over university sanctioned breaks.

Served as an UTA for POL 353, Constitutional Rights & Liberties, in which I aided in reviewing student assignments, helped students understand constitutional law concepts, and organized exam review sessions.
