AVP responsible for day-to-day operations and management of AZTEC Engineering Group's Bloomington office, which AZTEC established in 2014. Adrian's responsibilities include office administration, project management, conceptual design/project development, proposal writing, and marketing efforts in Indiana and adjacent states.

Responsible for oversight of the activities of all public and private construction in the city and planning jurisdiction along with transportation, water, storm water, sewer and housing projects. Acted as primary liaison between Civil City and Utilities Engineering Divisions to coordinate efforts between the two divisions. Essential duties includes the following: review engineering plans for public works projects of City departments; manage and implement public improvement and transportation system plans as required; manage the work of Engineering Department employees and outside consultants; develop standards for construction of public improvements; interpret engineering principles, applications and code; participate in initial planning and perform review of public construction for initial concept of project and its impacts on storm water systems and roadway systems as well as on-site construction standards; manage outsourcing (consultants) for engineering projects; review engineering plans prepared by outside consultants for the City and assist in coordination; liaison between CBU and civil city engineering reviewing projects and coordinating construction activity; oversee construction inspections of various City public works projects; answer inquiries and complaints by general public and inquiries of other departments on matters related to engineering, transportation, and building construction; serve as a member of Planning Commission; attend public board meetings as directed and address appropriate civil engineering matters as necessary; provide technical assistance to transmission and distribution crews performing construction; notify and meet with neighborhood residents of pending construction projects by issuing public notices and attending neighborhood meetings; solicit inputs from residents for construction projects, as required; coordinate with other local, state and federal governmental agencies on projects occurring in or near City jurisdiction.
