• Responsible for the completion and approval, decline or negotiation of credit applications on all credit products provided by RBC• Successfully obtained Delegated Lending Authorities – Loan Products up to $75000, Credit Cards up to $50000, Mortgages up to $350000• Communicate with clients proactively on a daily basis to retain mortgages through renewals and refinances• Adjudication of complex credit applications (loan products, credit cards, mortgages) from various delivery channels (Sales Units, Mortgage Specialists, other Service Partners)• Provide financial advice to clients around borrowing and investing needs• Assess and manage lending risk respecting the discipline enforced by bank policies• Ensures the safety and soundness of RBC funds through strong judgement and analytical skills guided by RBC risk policy adherence• Assist colleagues regularly on credit applications and procedural enquiries as well as coaching co-workers around risk management and unit sales• Act as second level support for agents on the floor who need procedural assistance• Work on committee to ensure staff are keeping up with Privacy Policies & Procedures

• Communicate with new and existing clients over the phone, addressing client’s immediate need in every conversation• Partner with internal Investment and Credit departments for personal client needs• Offering appropriate advice, client solutions, and leveraging partner to meet and resolve client needs• Ensure that all coaching and development of all new to role specialists are completed regularly and are within the established performance objectives, metrics and benchmarks.
