As a Chief Financial Officer with financial expertise, commercial intelligence and specialising in business strategy, I have established an extensive career enabling large SMEs and-listed corporates to build robust financial and management information systems that boost growth and support change. A natural problem solver, change agent and advocate of new and emerging technologies, my role as a finance leader focuses on the ‘why’ and not just the ‘how’. I use this creative insight to guide Boards and executive teams to deliver against the entire business agenda, both in the UK and across multiple international geographies. With deep and broad insight into financial leadership, business strategy, international team building, risk management and commercial operations, my teams and I have defined imaginative solutions for most commercial problems and have leveraged cost, time and efficiency savings equating to hundreds of thousands of pounds, year after year. In my role, I am constantly striving for excellence and seeking out innovative ways to improve strategy, leverage growth and better serve our franchise network to maximise revenues and profits for all parties. Taking nothing for granted, I am quick to spot weakness and adept at managing expectations and demands on revenue, together with building the financial models that underpin entire business goals. I am a keen cyclist and have participated in several charity rides, including a gruelling group ride with Pirtek Europe of 400 miles from Acton in the UK to Cologne in Germany raising money for Prostate cancer.I am also deeply passionate about the environment and in 2008 began the planning and build of an exceptional environmentally friendly residential house in an area of outstanding natural beauty - one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences of my life!
