Adrian SaavedraFirst-Generation Student | Aspiring Electrical and Computer EngineerI am a dedicated and passionate first-generation student currently pursuing a double major in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech. With over 5 years of experience in the electrical field, I have honed my skills in PCB design, CAD, 3D modeling, and programming in C++, Java, and JavaScript.My leadership roles include serving as the Electrical Lead for FRC Team 4472, Mechanical Lead for VEX robotics, as well as being the founder/president of the Hispanic Student Association for 2 years. I have also used my skills for the NOVA Community College Electronics Fellowship Program, and presented for multiple STEM-based clubs, including Women in STEM and VEX Robotics, each with over 50 members.I am deeply passionate about electrical engineering and am eager to pursue any and all projects in this field. My goal is to make a lasting impact on the communities around me through innovative and impactful engineering solutions.
