As an Intermediate QC Test Engineer, I ensure the quality and performance of software products through effective testing methodologies. My responsibilities include:Test Planning and Execution:-Execute test plans and cases, focusing on functional, regression, and exploratory testing.-Carry out a variety of test cases across different areas of the game to ensure comprehensive coverage.Defect Management:-Log, track, and verify game defects in Atlassian Jira, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution.-Serve as the point of contact for the QA team regarding the verification of automated reporting issues.Collaboration and Communication:-Regularly collaborate with development teams and the Project Lead to align on project goals and communicate quality expectations.-Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings, providing updates on testing progress and challenges.Error Analysis and Reporting:-Analyze and troubleshoot errors to uncover underlying issues, enhancing product quality.-Compile daily reports documenting product status, major issues, and overall testing progress.Testing and Documentation:-Conduct regression testing and full functionality tests on pre-released games to validate performance and user experience.-Continuously review project documentation to stay informed about changes and assist in creating and maintaining detailed test cases.
