Hello There!Let me introduce myself; I'm Adrian Sanchez, also known as Rayo, a Professional Mixed Martial Artist hailing from Cape Town, South Africa. I'm deeply passionate, relentlessly determined, and dedicated to achieving my goals. I firmly believe in the value of hard work and embrace every challenge that comes my way. My profound love for fitness, exercise, and competition has been with me since my early years, stemming from a lifelong affinity for sports.My journey as an athlete commenced at the tender age of 5 when I was scouted by Gordons Gymnastics Institute, a renowned gymnastics club in Cape Town. Later, I transitioned to ACS Gymnastics, concluding my gymnastics career. Following school, I ventured into coaching at Eversdal Gymnastics Club, a natural progression for many gymnasts.At 16, I joined J.G Meiring's high school rugby team, securing a spot on the 1st team from grade 10. Later, I represented Edgemead High School, taking up senior rugby in Matric. Post-school, I continued my rugby journey, trying out for Western Province U/19, U/20, and the Emerging Team. My tenure in the Western Province Academy marked a significant chapter.While coaching gymnastics, I pursued my studies at Northlink College, earning qualifications in Fitness and Personal Training and a certificate in Sports Massage. Transitioning from rugby, I joined Virgin Active, reigniting my passion for fitness and assisting others in achieving their fitness aspirations.During this period, I discovered the world of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). This newfound passion allowed me to re-enter the competitive arena, starting as an amateur in MMA, Kickboxing, and Boxing. With experience under my belt, I eventually turned professional, securing a contract with EFC (Extreme Fighting Championship), with a record of 4-3-0, and currently train out of Pride Fighting Academy. Leveraging my training expertise, I began teaching martial arts to private clients, specializing in MMA, Kickboxing, and Boxing.In parallel, I worked as a customer service host and social media specialist at DigiOutsource, enhancing my professional communication skills and client service acumen.
