Adrian Shepherd has always envisioned turning his life long passion of mentoring youth from his hometown and coaching his coworkers into a means of helping more people. Whether you need a life, career, leadership, or executive coach, Adrian is here to support you. He finds most clients seek him out for one type of coaching and end up utilizing him for all four. Coaching can assist development in the areas of mental health, self-awareness, providing feedback, emotional intelligence, effective communication, and managing conflict. He meets the client where they are using non-judgmental active listening and partners with them to clarify priorities, remove obstacles, and limiting beliefs.While in college, Adrian found it challenging to navigate and understand the professional industry. He spent countless hours in the library and student center developing competitive skills and insights that played key roles in his career progression. As a mentor he works with young adults on interview preparation, resume reviews, goal setting, breaking barriers, and career planning. Adrian is an Affiliate Member, Institute Of Coaching, at McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School affiliate. He is currently working towards becoming an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through International Coaching Federation (ICF). He is also in the process of becoming a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner through the American Board of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (ABNLP). He received his initial life coaching training through New Skills Academy. He has a Master's Degree in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology from North Carolina State University.
