About Adrian Smith

I am an investment analyst with 10+ years of experience working in structured products, distressed debt, and private credit. Since 2018, I have worked as an investment analyst/consultant at Finitive LLC, helping to arrange asset-based financing for specialty finance companies and writing investment memoranda on consumer and corporate debt. Prior to Finitive,I worked at Aurelius Capital Management LP as a research analyst, focused on structured products including non-agency RMBS, CMBS, and ABS. At Aurelius, I evaluated investment opportunities, developed investment models, and analyzed legal matters affecting portfolio companies. Outside of the office, I enjoy running in 1-mile and 5-K races, singing at voice lessons and recitals, and investing in peer-to-peer loans among other things.
