- Conducts in-depth studies of ITB, project and design basis, covering scope of work, overall project schedule, basic design data, client specifications, client standard drawings, and existing drawings with minor supervision of LE. - Designs and develops piping systems for various industrial projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.  - Prepares comprehensive documentation including line index, tie-in list, MTO sketch, BM/BQ, plan, and isometric drawings, ensuring compliance with project standards, specifications, contract requirements, and accepted engineering and construction practices.- Utilizes 3D CAD software (such as S3D, E3D, and AP3D) to create detailed models of piping systems, including equipment and structural components. Performs interference detection and resolves clashes within the 3D model to ensure accurate and efficient design. - Conducts piping stress analysis and manual calculations during design development, coordinating with the Piping Stress Engineer to ensure the integrity and safety of piping systems under various operating conditions. Prepares and reviews engineering calculations and reports related to piping design.- Collaborates with engineers in other departments to ensure process requirements and project standards are aligned within the project. Reviews vendor documents for instruments and equipment and prepares piping loading information for structures and foundations.- Oversees and manages all aspects of engineering projects within a specific area, from conception to completion. Develops project plans, sets deadlines, and ensures that teams meet these deadlines. Mentors and guides junior engineers, assigns tasks, reviews work, and resolves any issues that arise within the team.
