About Adrian Swartz, Phd

First at Mystery.org and now at Discovery Education, I'm excited to help millions of young students develop a love for science through engaging and thought-provoking science content and activities. I leverage experimentation, predictive analytics, and artificial intelligence in order to build impactful educational resources for teachers, develop strategies, solve customer problems, and drive growth. It's my passion to develop amazing products and resources that help teachers everywhere have an easier time teaching science. Stay Curious!Before transitioning to data science and ed-tech, I spent more than 10 years working in academia as a teacher and experimental physicist. My interests focused on researching the fundamental (quantum) interactions which give rise to the properties of energy materials and how they might be applied in next generation electronics. My research spanned topics across superconductivity, magnetism, nanoscience, and novel quantum materials generating more than 30 peer-reviewed publications.
