Kia ora, I’m the co-founder of a boutique Landscape Architecture studio called Botanic, based in Ōtautahi Christchurch, along with Paul Roper-Gee.  Through Botanic, we embrace an inclusive co-design process and believe the greatest successes come from the collaborative journeys taken together.  Over the past 15 years, I have developed specialties in conceptual designing, innovative play spaces, and biodiverse planting schemes. Botanic work with architects and design teams to create public, community, educational, commercial and residential landscapes that align with our environment, tell stories and people fall in love with.  The Botanic studio is currently involved with the Christchurch Performing Arts Precinct, Tapoa Naval Point development, multiple schools projects, public plantings with the council and residential gardens, including some for architects own gardens.. kinda becoming ‘the architect’s landscape architect’!Growing a community around us is really important. Each year we host an urban gin foraging and co-crafting event, which recently won a NZ Landscape Architecture Award (see our journal page).
