I am a very motivated and driven person who has had to work hard to achieve my goals in life. Leaving a small country town to move to the big smoke at the age 17, to chase a rugby league dream with not one single offer on the table may have been seen as mad to others but to me it was a challenge I wanted to conquer. My whole journey has had ups and downs, peaks and troughs, I have made mistakes and plenty of them but every part of my journey I have learnt life lessons both good and bad along the way which have shaped me into the person I am today. I am proud of my journey and I am proud of my story that has come from what I have been able to achieve in life. I am available for the following:-* Public Speaking - Luncheons/Dinners/Corporate Events* Motivational Speaking"Dream Big - small steps turn into giant strides".

Rugby League PlayerRugby League Jan 1990 - Oct 2005I played semi professional and professional rugby league for 16 years which took me to 10 countries and numerous towns and cities around the world. My career included just under 300 first grade games and around 400 games in total. I learnt how to play the game of rugby league in the country towns of Cunnamulla and Charleville and I am forever thankful for that. I didn't make any QLD teams as a kid, with the first being State Of Origin and I never had any NRL offers when I left Charleville as a 17 year old, which proves hard work can help you achieve your dreams.- Gold Coast Seagulls 1990 - 94- North QLD Cowboys 1995-96- Castleford (3 stints)1997-2001/03/05- Leeds Rhinos 2002- Wakefield Trinity Wildcats 2002-2003- Toowoomba Clydesdales 2004 - Burleigh Bears 2005- I was also player coach of Wakefield in the UK Super League. My career also included - One State of Origin appearance for QLD in 1994 - FOG 81- Three World Cup games for Scotland in 2000 - One test match for Scotland 2001 against France - British 'Man of Steel' award for the UK Super League Player of the Year in 1999, the first Queenslander to do so and at the time only the second Australian recipient of the award.
