Administer, manage, upgrade and develop a collection of integrated software development tools including Bitbucket Server/Cloud, JIRA, Confluence Server/Cloud, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube and XL Deploy. Manage the build and deployment pipeline for a number of both internal and external projects through from development to production using a variety of different tools. Provide a common build platform (Jenkins) which supports development in a number of different build technologies and languages including Maven, Python, Docker, NPM and Conda. Support and develop the growing need for cloud based SCM, build and deployment technologies to aid remote collaboration and development with external Met Services and other third parties. Engage with development and business teams, providing training, guidance and management to ensure they use our tools in an efficient and consistent way. Work towards automating all build and deployment processes. Eliminate manual and error prone tasks in order to build, test and deploy in a consistent and repeatable fashion to speed up delivery from development through to production and the customer. Keep up to date with industry trends and changes to ensure early adoption into new ways of working.
