A dedicated and results-driven Master of Industrial Relations (MIR) graduate from Queen’s University, with a background in Applied Economics. My focus was contract interpretation, mediation and employee engagement. Through my studies I developed strong research skills to aid in analyzing and evaluating grievance/termination cases under Ontario Employment and Labour Law. During my time in the mobilization committee with PSAC, I led recruitment and outreach initiatives to drive member engagement and participation in an upcoming major bargaining campaign. My roles as a Teaching Assistant furthered my skills in communication, team collaboration, and providing constructive feedback, all of which are essential in HR functions. With additional experience in customer service, I bring a well-rounded perspective to fostering positive workplace environments and conflict resolution.Born and raised in Hong Kong, before moving to Canada for University, I am proficient in English and Mandarin, with my native tongue being Cantonese. I leverage my linguistic abilities to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and enhance communication across multicultural environments.Beyond the professional realm, my interests include motorcycle tuning, statue/figurine painting, and fencing, having been awarded the John Edgar Williams Most Improved Player award in 2023 at the Queen's Fencing Club.
