Responsible for coordinating both the in house and subcontract manufacturing of our products. Interface with our engineering department to assure all documentation is in order per our ISO standards and assist in the supervision and scheduling of production for both our in house and subcontracted workers . Also be proactive in product development with engineering to assure efficient design for manufacturing purposes.• Responsible for production planning, management of deadlines and regular monitoring of interdepartmental activities• Directly manage manufacturing operation as well as supervise production employees and organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing employee schedules; Establish product schedule in line with forecasts and just-in-time orders• Establish product schedule in line with forecasts and just-in-time orders• Coordinate with 6 Sub-Contractors, Internal Production, Inside Support and Buyer/Scheduler for timely delivery of product; • Provide leadership and direct management to manufacturing operations, including SMT Soldeting , Mechanical assembly and Shipping/Receiving; • Develop and maintain KPI for production department and take action to meet goals; • Effectively introduce new products to the production floor , update and maintain all required ISO 9001 : 2015 procedures • Manage and update ERP system to current status for jobs in the WHIP and completed jobs; • Assure that production transactions are properly recorded in ERP system ; • Prepare parts needed for jobs issued to sub-contractors; • Update ERP system for shipping & receiving of parts; • Organizes production meetings • Manage the shipping/receiving department; • Prepare and sign Certificates of Conformity; • Ensure smooth running of annual physical inventory count; • Responsible for Health & Safety of work environment and periodic training of employees on the topic; Stay current with CPR workplace training (CSST).
