Adriana is the Valuation & Modeling (V&M) leader for Deloitte Spanish Latin America, that comprises three Marketplaces and 16 countries. Her work focuses on helping to shape the strategic direction for the V&M practice in the region.• With three decades of experience in corporate finance, transaction support and valuation services, Adriana has led hundreds of projects in +20 countries regarding businesses, real property, machinery and equipment, and intangible assets (e.g., trademarks, licenses, technology, software) in a variety of industries, for numerous purposes: mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, governance, litigation support, financial reporting, among others, collaborating with international consulting firms and government entities.• Civil Engineer with postgraduate studies in valuation and an MBA, Adriana is an Accredited Senior Appraiser in Business Valuation and was the first professional in Latin America to attain the Intangible Asset Specialty Designation, both from the American Society of Appraisers. She also was the first international member appointed to the Appraisal Practices Board of The Appraisal Foundation, the foremost authority on the valuation profession in the USA.• Prior to joining Deloitte, she led her own firm specialized in valuation and related advisory services and, in the public sphere, served as Appraisals Technical Director in the Institute for the Administration and Appraisal of National Assets, a decentralized agency of the Mexican federal government.• International Women’s Forum IWF member.
