So I guess this is where I tell you a bit about who Adriana is:Incredibly passion-driven enthusiast, I'm an industrial engineer who likes to sing and play the guitar while being involved in sustainable development and environmental projects since university. When I say passion-driven, I mean it! Every single project I've been involved with: debating club, organizing an international energy conference for +700 students; planning and executing the operational growth of the first Latin American microbility startup expanding the fleet from 150 to 800 e-mopeds with +40 charging stations across Mexico City, to volunteering at an Australian dog rescue group. All these have a thing in common: passion. This has been the critical factor in developing key projects and delivering results. One of my most significant accomplishments has been creating a mathematical operational model for Econduce's new investor's round; this included meticulous analyses of CAPEX and OPEX and forecasting three possible scenarios that presented an average cost-efficient savings of 25%.One key thing is that I'm incredibly proactive, which has helped me reach my goals and migrate to Australia while continuing collaborating with startups and helping them generate sustainable growth through strategic planning.Life put me in the right place at the right time with an opportunity as Head of Ops of Agtuary. Agtuary is an Australian platform that provides next-generation insights to drive risk and investment decision-making in agriculture using satellite, climate & on-site data. With this role, I was able to bring back my two biggest passions: sustainability and strategic planning. On Mid-2022 I decided to take a step back to reflect on where I had landed! Because of this, went and took a break from my startup career and did a couple of months of hospitality for the first time in my life! (Still not your favourite barista -but for sure your favourite bartender!). This is when I decided it was time to go back home, spend time with family and friends and try to clear up my mind around "What do I actually want to do with my life?". After a couple of months back home, and time to think how I'm contributing to the world, I now find myself back in the energy and sustainability industry but on the other side of the spectrum: empowering breakthrough innovation with startups and corporates at Startupbootcamp Australia, currently as a Project Manager & Relations Lead.

Co-Founder+52Mx (Plus 52 Mx) Mar 2020 - Dec 2023Melbourne, Victoria, Australia+52MX is a project that started with the goal of building something good for the environment, good fo the people and good for the economy. That's how we started: we work with local rural communities in Mexico who make beautiful handwoven bags out of recycled plastic. We don't mess with any of the original ideas that bring to life the bags, as every piece tells the story of the person who made it. Through every bag, a % goes directly to the local community where it was made, impacting the person who worked on the bag and an entire community.
