Internship with the PROSPECT neutrino experiment located at the High Flux Isotope Reactor at Oak Ridge National Lab. Research under supervision of plasma physicist Dr. Dave Rasmussen concerning pellet injection methods for both deuterium refueling and disruption mitigation in the ITER tokamak. Duties include conducting experiments to optimize injection methods (pneumatic punches or fast gas valves) as well as developing models for pellet shock response. Exposure to various aspects of large-scale project management such as document management, export control and quality assurance.
