📚 Hi! I am from El Salvador and I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC, Canada. As someone passionate about mental health, it brings me satisfaction to support those who are struggling with a mental health setback. My ultimate goal is to pursue a M.A. in Counselling and I am particularly interested in the areas of grief, anxiety, and student support . 🌟 I am currently dedicating myself to supporting a diverse population of students. I have four years of experience supporting post-secondary students in their academic journeys. As a former international student, it brings me passion to extend an empathetic hand to fellow newcomers and international students as they navigate life in Canada. 😊 I am highly enthusiastic about gaining new skills and growing. I also value listening to others and learning from them. I am always searching for new opportunities, challenges, and adventures. This is reason I decided to come to Canada, to step out of my comfort zone and get a taste of a whole new culture. ❤️ Outside of my advising role, I love spending quality time with the people I care about. My friends and family are very important to me and I'll always find time to be surrounded by them. I also enjoy attending concerts. I try my best to go to at least one concert a year!
